Our Story

We are a family-owned business. A husband and wife team that have brought together their passions and talents to offer an inviting space that is focused on the art of music.

Joel Janis has over a decade of experience in leading musicians and teaching music. He himself toured the country playing his own music after graduating with a Music Business degree from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. 

Lori Janis comes from a music business background as well. She studied at a music school in Memphis, TN. Moving on to then work for various talent management groups and radio in Nashville, TN.

Joel and Lori met in Chicago, despite having lived streets away from each other for years in Tennessee. A reminder that in all good stories, timing is everything. That is why they have packed up their family of five and moved from the cold snow of Michigan to the warm mountain breeze of Erwin, TN. Believing the time is now to follow a dream and live out the adventure of having a small business.

Just try not to fault them for their very northern accents. They're excited for the day when their kiddos start saying, "y'all."
